OUR HISTORY
Established in 1982 following the closure of Bagot Park, Northline Speedway has been the home of dirt track racing in Darwin for over four decades. Built as a 400-metre clay circuit, the venue has grown into one of the Northern Territory’s premier motorsport facilities, hosting national championships, iconic events and generations of local talent. From its early days rebuilding the sport in the Top End to becoming a recognised stop on the national racing calendar, the legacy of Northline Speedway is defined by the drivers, volunteers and champions who have shaped its story - many of whom are honoured here.
