The 2022 SSA Inc. Northern Territory Junior Sedan Title is set to head to Northline Speedway on Saturday, 25th June which will see our junior competitors from across the NT with over 40 nominations expected being one of the largest seen by Darwin. This will mark the first of three state titles to be hosted at Northline Speedway in 2022.

The Darwin Junior Sedans committee have worked hard over the last two years in developing a strong program that provides junior competitors a unique opportunity to learn driving skills, access to equipment and vehicles and peer support. It is expected the Darwin Junior Sedans club will head in to the 2022 season with 20 junior competitors, the largest competitor based seen in the last decade. In 2022, the junior sedans will likely be split over two heats (Top Stars and New Stars) allowing them to compete regularly against similar skill based competitors.

The junior division has always been the gateway to the senior divisions of Speedway and the Darwin Junior Sedan program guides the junior competitors in preparation for this transition when they turn 16. In 2022 we will see former junior sedan competitor, Xavier Gotts make his debut in a Wingless Sprint and is keen to apply his skills and hopes to take home some wins.

Northline Speedway will host two more NT Titles in 2022, The AMCA Nationals on Friday 12 August and 410 Sprintcars as a prelude to the Ostojic Chariots of Thunder on Saturday 13 August.
